Chao, Hi, Hola!
Hi there, visitor- parishioner-family-friend! Welcome to my BLOG! This is my first blogging experience. The funny thing is that of all the people I am chosen to have an opportunity to create my own blog. I don't have a facebook, a twitter, or an Istant Messaging account - I don't even check my email account often! Well, there is a first time for everything.
My first question: should I keep the name "blog"? Blog sounds so generic. I want the name to be unique, like "Father Vincent's sacred space" or "Father Vincent's Holy Musings." Ding! Ding! Ding! An insight came to my mind as I listened to Wally Arida's instructing me how to move around the blog. BLOG may mean "Be Lovers Of God." I'll just keep the title "Blog." That's it; through this blog, you and I will have an opportunity to express and share our thoughts and feelings about God's love and all God-related things.
It's my hope and prayer that from this blog encounter you and I can understand each other a little bit more. Amen? Amen!
Chao, Bye, Adios,

Welcome to the world of Catholic evangelization on the internet. And congratulations on your first blog, Fr. Vincent. Thank you for giving us a new definition for BLOG - Be Lovers of God.
ReplyDeleteMay your new parish website touch many lives and enlighten countless minds and spirits to the eternal love of our God.
Kindest regards and God bless.
Hi Father Vincent,
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your entering the world of Blogging. I have a question about this week's parilsh bulletin (April 18, 2010). The English section lists our Palm Sunday collection as $11754.98 but he Spanish section lists the Palm Sunday collection as $9219.03. I hope the Engish version is correct! What is the correct amount?

Very cool definition for BLOG. I like it.
ReplyDeleteI had to post anonymous because I don't have an account.

Hi Father Vincent! (and to the office people at SMM)
ReplyDeleteI think it would be a good idea to make a Fan Page on Facebook and then link the Church's website to the fan page. That way you can get in contact with a large part of the community, and it will be easier for people to access the SMM's news updates-because people will be on Facebook regardless.
Fr. Vincent, you should totally have someone make a Facebook profile for you. Imagine your parishioners getting constant updates about the church! It would definitely motivate Catholics to be active in their faith more often than just on Sundays. :-) just some ideas.
And i LOVE the acronym for BLOG: Be Lovers Of God! Amen!!!!
Hi Fr. Vincent, Just wanted to let you know people do look at your blog. ☺
ReplyDeleteThank you for taking the time to do it.
